We’ve stumble upon “Tasca do Gigante” by chance as we were nearby looking for good local food from Alentejo. We couldn’t ask for more, not only the food was delicious, the owner was an absolute wonderful person and it is very obvious the proud shown to local tradition and food. Quite amazing how a simple meal turned into an amazing conversation that spanned across the table next to us, accompanied by the delicious “Além-Tejo” delicacies. What a gem. A must try.

Amazing petiscos and very nice ambience
Friendly welcome by the owner. We asked him to surprise us with typical Portuguese dishes. The snacks and drinks were delicious. We really felt spoiled. Our first evening in Portugal ended in a fantastic way. Joost en Ilse Belgium
Amazing food, genuine people, great service. Go for ovos com espargos ! 27 for two people, 3 dishes, one bottle of wine and one coffee. Expected my expectations in all aspects.

Passagem obrigatória para quem está perto de Montargil! O atendimento é espetacular e cada prato é um verdadeiro manjar: bem confecionado e carregado de sabor. As migas são óptimas e vale à pena experimentar as línguas de bacalhau. Voltaremos com certeza!
