I had an amazing experience at Golden Web, thank you very much Anna! The place has a peaceful 'hacienda' feel, with a beautiful garden and atmosphere. And the animals make it very lively. Anna makes you feel very welcome, with warmth kindness and love. I had very little experience in yoga and in her yoga sessions, Anna creates such a safe, kind and nurturing environnement that I could for the first time experience a profound and healing connection with my body. Thank you so much for the good time shared in your little paradise!

I am not someone who comments on Youtube videos or writes reviews of bad establishments but the ability to prevent others from having the same awful experience renting an apartment and being in the presence of the owner needs to be done Excluding the fact that all our of clothes had mold after our 1 month stay, construction continuously was the backdrop noise of this "peaceful farm", the temperature of the apartment is freezing due to lack of insulation (not the owners fault as many houses in Portugal are the same) but demeaning comment were comments/requests are made to not turn on the air conditioner above 22. Among all the items the reason to be wary is due to how the owner Anna mistreats and abuses all volunteers...even locking them from the communal kitchen (only source of water) when they notified her that they plan to leave in the upcoming days. Please make your own opinions but be wary.
This place is absolutely stunning. So artsy and full of kindness and colour. I've been there so many times and every single time I'm amazed by the warmth with which I'm welcomed there. Anna, the owner, is a phenomenal yoga teacher who combines movement with music and wisdom in her classes. The yoga sessions are so different each time, they energise you and slow you down at the same time. And the farm! I definitely didn't expect to see donkeys, chicken and sheep. For someone like me who's spent many years in London this feels so refreshing to see. Can't wait for Golden Web to fully reopen once the lockdown restriction get relaxed.
I am living in Portugal since three years now and was very happy to come to Golden Web and meet Ana when I moved to the Moncarapacho area. The place is lovely, peaceful and authentic. I enjoy the feeling of Anas hospitality and calmness. Her animals are just adorable. She did an amazing job in renovating traditional Portoguese buildings and gave them an extra bit of charme without changing the original character. The whole place invites to relax, calm down and enjoy wellbeeing. Thank you Ana!
