Clean and peaceful. Most of the water allows enough space to try the depth rather than forcing the swimmers to hit the deep end straight away. Quite a few welcoming restaurants scattered at the entrances to the beach. If staying in the centre of Porto, the beach is quite a bit of a journey, either use Über which is quite responsive and will cost between 6-10 each way. Walking will take way over an hour.

Is beautiful and not far from Porto center, for example, but there are so many surf schools that sometimes is hard to bathe without being hit by a board. Just like hundreds of kids in water at the same time. And it doesn't have a bathroom for public use. Is nice for skating and riding bikes with dedicate space.

Nice and clean beach. Too many crowd specially on holidays and Sunday. Easy excess from city to beach with A metro line.

so beautiful beach in the city, although the water is pretty cold and a lot of seeweed but it's clean, soft sand and along. Feel free to be here, perfect sunbath and listen the wave. So peaceful! From the city center, you can take the bus 502, 500, metro with 2 and let spend time for the sunset.

Great developed beach. But have Just one coffe house attached to it. Rest are a bit walk away. Within 5 min walk you have a whole area where you find grilled sea food all around.

Lovely beach, full of surfers, people with dogs or jogging or doing all sorts of sports. There is café place at the end. You can also find couple of showers there.
