It’s an amazing place to go and visit especially in the winter time. Water will comes out from those rocks and cracks from the underground.

Learn about where tapwater comes from. The kids loved the time travel simulator. Worth a visited, there is also a cafe/restaurant, playground, picknickspot and several hike trails. Situated at one of the most important springs of portugal.

Muito BOM! Excelente local para visitar, aprender, participar em actividades e até mesmo ficar alojado. O Centro Ciência Viva do Alviela fica situado junto à nascente do Rio Alviela, tem excelentes condições, serviços educativos, actividades pedagógicas, acolhimento muito simpático e atencioso, instalações para alojamento (em camaratas e com balneário masculino/feminino). Está enquadrado numa paisagem e recursos naturais de grande beleza, conjugando na perfeição as infra-estruturas básicas para uma boa experiência (ex: WC, Café-Restaurante, Parque de Merendas, Campo de Jogos em areia, etc.) e a natureza pura e autentica em estado selvagem.
