Great staff, great food for a good price. The clerk was incredible and the food was damn delicious. We had the lunch menu (: An experience to repeat

It’s good, but nothing special. The staff is very friendly and well trained. Cozy atmosphere. The food is Ok. It’s not great, but not bad either... it’s just Ok. The highlight for me was the avocado cheesecake. That was very good.

Veracruz is a Mexican \inspired\ restaurant that really does not offer real, authentic Mexican food. Instead the menu has Mexican type food with malagueta peppers and NOT actual Mexican peppers. This is a great strategy as you pay for specialty peppers, tortillas and spices and are instead given local products. I dined there recently and will not be returning as the taste of the food was completely off and I am not anxious to waste money at this restaurant.

The \Pescado Veracruzana\ is very good: recommended.

It may not be authentic Mexican but it’s still well prepared and good food The sea bass was cooked perfectly and very tasty Definitely recommend the avocado cheesecake, I was skeptical but it’s delicious With the exception of one waiter who should be fired, the staff is very friendly and service is good

Nice try but this ain't Mexican. My burrito was actually a wrap and the molé sauce was super runny.

Excellent service, brilliant churros, decent steaks Veracruz is a stylish addition to the wonderful host of restaurants in Saldanha. Having just opened however, their kitchen needs to pick up the pace because there were hits and misses with our meal. The service by the maitre'd was superb however, and he had lots of patience to answer several questions from my inquisitive kids, as well as the professionalism to switch one of our dishes when it was not up to standard. We ordered the steaks, tinga chicken tacos and the burrito. The steaks at Euro11 felt a little small in size and were about enough for our kids. The burrito too felt small for the price at Euros8.50 but was not bad. The chicken tacos however were a let down. They tasted quite fishy and the tacos they came in were very dry and brittle. The head waiter saw how unhappy I was, and immediately offered to swap it out for another dish at no extra cost. I ordered a steak in its place. Not only this, but after we were done with mixed feelings on the meal, he offered to send us churros on the house to make up for it - which were absolutely divine. The dulce de leche and dark chocolate sauce were amazing with the piping hot churros. My suggestion is now that the kitchen needs to keep pace with the service. The service was prompt, professional, polite and proactive, while the food portions could be improved in size and quality. Best of luck guys!

Small portions and expensive food It lacked some greens and spice Doubling the size of portions would make it better.
