I visited the ISCTE-IUL at the University of Lisbon to attend an international, interdisciplinary conference organised by the African European (\Afroeuropean\) Research Network during July 2019. The lecture theatres, meeting rooms and catering facilities in this institute were very good, as well as the administrative and facilitation support services provided by the host departments and their student volunteers. The campus is within a five minute walk from Entrecampos metro station, taking only c.15 minutes to travel to the historic centre of Lisbon.
