Deliciously tasty empanadas made with loving care by owners Joao & Elysia. This small casual establishment is tastefully decorated and quite welcoming. Varied choices of empanadas, veg, meat, chicken, cheese, therefore something for everyone. The ginger infused cocktails are excellent. If you’re a foodie (or not) UNION PORTUGAL is an absolute must during your visit to Lisboa.
Excellente place for à quick bite for dinner! The empanadas and the smoothies were really amazing and fresh! The staff was really nice and welcoming even during those weird times. Eating in and out is possible, and the sanitisation is perfect.

We had a stop here whilst on a street art tour with Igor from Street Buddha. What a find - best empanadas ever and quite a few different fillings. You must try the chimchurri sauce with them. The ginger juice was great and very refreshing. We even finished with a glass of ginjah. Highly recommend.
A very beautiful and sweet place with best empanadas and great ginger drink. It's really difficult to resist from taking a picture of the place and have a small chat with charismatic owner. Totally recommend. (don't forget to ask for a spicy sauce. It's very simple but amazingly tasty)

The food in this place was great. We recommend doing the menu from the website. The owner/chef handmade and invented all the tapas and drinks. He was telling us passionately about all the food, ingredients and backstories how he came up with the recipes. The drinks were great as well and plenty. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
