It was my first Fado experience but I quite enjoyed it! We got to hear 4 songs during our dinner. I got the seafood Masada and it was so tasty! My sister got the pineapple turkey and it was so flavourful. Unsure why this place has gotten such poor reviews. I do echo that they didn’t have credit card choice available and we went to the cashier to pay our bill but we didn’t mind since we got our food quickly and was able to enjoy the performances.

Fado Paradise ! Stopped by for my Mom's birthday and encountered a very courteous and friendly environment. Ordered Codfish, Vegetarian sausage and Veal, all pretty good. Dont forget to get Farinheira (appetizer) Couple of genuine Fado Singers complemented the experience We'll be back again for sure

Terrible vegetarian food. Two options, one mushroom and that I had a vegetable mush! I enjoyed the green wine that was recommended though. Friendly staff, but also slow service. Live music, which was OK and traditional I guess.
Very expensive in comparison with what they offer. The wine comes in very tiny glasses and they force you into ordering food. Avoid this trap!
I passed here randomly, whist wandering around in Bairro Alto, drawn in by the prix fixe lunch menu. The place was 80% empty. I have to say it was undoubtedly the worst meal I've had in Portugal so far during my holiday here. I ordered the baked cod, and it was just an atrocity. Nice presentation but no flavour. The outside was so hard and crispy, it could not be chewed. The inside had a flaky texture but no flavour at all. Texture was ok, but it tasted like nothing. The potatoes that came with it were equally bland. The desert pudding was fine, but I would never pay the a la carte 4 Euro price for pudding that tested like it came from a plastic cup in the grocery store. I'm increasing the rating from 1/5 to 2/5 because the waiter was very helpful in describing the menu items, and they have very nice, modern, clean washrooms.
Great place with fado music - male and female singer. The food is great and portions are enough.
The food was okay, nothing special. I couldn't think 2 sec for the drink cuz the waiter was angry.
