Went to there this morning because I couldn't find my passport and resident card so I needed to have a statement from the police. I was not sure about the police service in Portugal as I have heard thousands of times of how bad the service could be. However, this wasn't the case of this police station. The officers were very warm and patient. The one who attended me was very good-tempered and asked me with patience. And the one who dealt with my case, Officer Martins, was very responsible and made sure that all the information was correct and told me what I could do using the statement. Before I left they even let me use their toilet. As policemen they certainly do not have to wear a big smile all the time, but their service was just really good. It took me about 30 minutes to have everything carefully done. This police station deserves a 5 star.

O agente Ávila ou Vilar, não percebi bem, é alguém que não honra a esquadra nem a instituição - rude e mal educado no atendimento, desligando abruptamente o telefone esquecendo-se que , como cidadão e também como polícia, se exige civismo e cordialidade.

Telefonei para fazer uma denúncia muito provavelmente de violência doméstica no prédio vizinho, e, o polícia desligou-me na cara enquanto tentava denunciar. Muito eficiente, sim senhor, quando aparecer mais uma mulher morta, depois acham estranho.
