Came to Portugal for a few weeks & wanted to learn a bit of Portuguese. Found this language school & contacted them to see if I could have a few private lessons in the apartment I rented... ended up taking over 20 private lessons! Ana Rita was efficient in replying & extremely helpful, & the teacher I had (Indira) was exceptional- always on time, came well prepared & adapted the lessons to my goal of being able to book a table in a restaurant/order food to being able to ask for items in a shop/supermarket. I highly recommend Português Et Cetera if you are keen on learning Portuguese!

Very good experience with the Portugues Etcetera School. We appreciated the flexibility and forward thinking to help us make the best of those twee weeks, both on practical as a schedule level. Having daily lessons in a beautifull parc amongst the coronavirus was a blessing. Joana and Indira were professional and good teachers. We learned a lot, and all of us are motivated to continue our journey in the Portugese language. Indira, you you were very sweet, well prepared and the boys appreciated your teachings skills and patience. Joana, I appreciated your directness and urge to move forward. Excellent experience. I was granted a bursary by the European Parliament for an e-course to study Portuguese in the summer of 2020. I chose Português Et Cetera in Lisbon as a learning institution, as its educational offer included online courses and courses for interpreters. I had a good learning experience and I recommend Português Et Cetera because: -\tThe course was tailored to my needs – it was focused on important aspects of Portuguese culture and vocabulary building; oral comprehension was prioritized and engaging audio-visual material was used; -\tI was assigned a highly-qualified teacher with extensive experience with online Portuguese teaching for international students; -\tThe teacher showed flexibility regarding the planning of training sessions; -\tThe school showed full flexibility and understanding of my needs as an interpreter working at the EP.

I came here from the beginning of Feb 2020. I opted for the evening classes which were really good because you can guarantee there will be people there, and it's also good for socialising too. The process was very smooth and you are provided with study material to complete the course at no extra cost. Ana Rita went through the process with me and I found her very helpful. I want to send a big shout out to my teacher (Indira), who was absolutely great! She's such a good teacher and I would say you'll be lucky if you can get in her class. I only done 1 month but to be honest I have learn't a lot. I will miss my class to be fair as everybody was great within it.

Great experience with both in-person and online classes. Aside from the language, they also teach you Portuguese and Lisboeta culture, not just in class but also with many social activities that really makes you feel welcome and integrated in the city. Obrigado por tudo e até breve!
