Nice hotel, historic architecture and very quiet, great to rest. Without rain, there are several activities. Nice restaurants, however, can improve service agility and food options. Breakfast can also be improved. Great professionals. Very nice spa with great massages. The only thing left to be desired was that it was cold, the indoor pool is not at all hot, there was no way to relax 100% and there was dirt on the mold ceiling. But we intend to return in the summer to have another experience. ️

Service is great. Rooms are large and luxurious. The area is very serene and peaceful. Their gym is also very useful for a quick vacation workout. Will try to come here next time we’re in Portugal.
Quite dirty and very slow service. However beautiful peaceful location! The country club/golf club on site is lovely to walk through. The pools are not heated so can't be used in winter. Sauna was very dangerous with uneven planks on the floor - I fell and cut my elbow. Food was pretty awful and overpriced. The Italian restaurant didn't taste like Italian food, more so microwave meals.
The staff at Penha Longa was amazing. They went above and beyond and even gave our future baby the sweetest gift and card before we left. We are excited to return....with a child in tow. Thank you Penha Longa for going above and beyond.

Good course, quite short, greens flags at front with old pitch marks. Windy when we played. Staff excellent, great bar restaurant and good food. Lovely clubhouse and fantastic facilities.
The hotel is beautiful has great landscape. Rooms are nice. Restaurants was good but we just tried arola. Reception was very good. But for a 5star hotel was missing some details. Like the room didn’t have enough water. And nothing in the mini bar. It was quite hot the room. Room service quite expensive for some simple items we paid more than 100. Breakfast is very poor. But offcourse. Those details is easy to change. I would be back for sure. Specially to try the Japanese midori.
The most impressive thing about his hotel is the staff! The service is just perfect from the gate to to rooms... The staff is very professional and super friendly, speak different languages and very present and helpful for anything we needed, Vanessa and Joao at Spices, Bruno at the breakfast room and all others, and without any exception all the staff members and the chef and pastry chef at The Lab, where we had a fantastic dining experience. We enjoyed our stay at this place mainly thanks to the staff. Thank you very much for being so nice and please stay just like this :-)
