Just enough to say this restaurant offers excellent food and good service. Nice music, positive atmosphere, authentic beer from Mozambique will take you everseas to remote african places :)

Delicious curries - especially recommendable with the coconut rice

I moved into this neighborhood a month ago and stumbled on this place (there is a big sign out front, but you have to go downstairs...which is a bit confusing). The food here is fantastic. I came twice. The first time, I had the grilled shrimp special, which was tasty coconut rice. I wouldn't get the coconut rice next time. It was a bit pricey and didn't add too much. Plus a Chamuca...which was fantastic. The chef/owner came by and explained that all of the recipes are from his mother who actually makes most of the sauces by hand. It was all very fresh, tasty and flavorful. Next visit I had a chicken curry dish that was also delicious. Will definitely come back. Also, he has some super spicy red peppers stashed away in the back if you want some nice heat!

Very good home made type comfort food. The service is very friendly and fast. I do recall the traditional music playing in background which embraced us to their African roots. Loved the paintings with traditional sayings about how friendly and welcoming Mozambique is. The location is top - at city center. Starter: Chamuça; Entrees: sarapatel and fried shrimp - Zambezian style; delicious food

First time eating mozambican food, didn’t disappoint. Tasty samosas for starters and a crab curry for main dish. The curry was creamy and the crab meat so tender. Waiter was very friendly and helpful, explaing the main characteristics of mozambican food and helping us place our order.

The shrimp peanut curry with coconut rice on the side is delicious. For those with a sweet tooth, try the peanut tart. Very friendly staff.
