A good sandwich but not the best bifana ever. Not the freshest, hottest or juiciest meat. Prepared with very little love or care. Still better than so many out there. Probably not worth repeating. It was better when I was here in 2018

As it is right next to square, I thought it was a tourist trap. I used to live near by. I was totally wrong, a humble local place frequented by locals. Bifana was made in from of you. Fresh and hot. Cheap prices. Staff were friendly.
Went there as had good ratings. Not disappointed. Two very hungover heads eating the mixed Biffana sandwich with mustard and beer. Wow! Simple and delicious . Asked the waitress about pastry and she recommended one which was absolutely delicious! Very busy with the locals.
This place has soul! You will have a breakfast with local people, with portugueese policemen, with local manatainance staff and with local elderly couple etc. Forget posh coffee places with no soul and heart. Try something authentic and simple in the most positive meaning. Highly recommend.

Very good food. Here I felt like I am in one of theses Italian movies. Warm people and the atmosphere is good. I got this plate in the pic. I forgot its name lol but it is good. This playe and two beers for 10
Absolutely love this place, the staff is so friendly and the pork sandwich is just amazing!!! The pork is nicely cooked as you can see walking in the restaurant from the outside. Beer has three portion for you to choose, the Octopus salad is great too, is soft and full of flavor with olive and olive oil!
