Traditional home cooked Portuguese cuisine. Wonderful piripiri. Nice desserts and they sponsor a specific full meal menu everyday that's only 7.95eur with drink, dessert and coffee
I enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the service. Simple dishes well prepared and presented. Portions are almost too generous. I like to eat and couldn't quite finish an appetizer and main course. Solid house wine. Alheira de Caça was delicious, as was the morçela. The cod was the size of a brick and very tasty. Excellent service: friendly but not intrusive. Check out the display case inside the door before ordering. It looks delicious and lets one know whats fresh. A recent renovation gives a clean, simple ambiance that feels comfortable, and doesn't stray far from traditional design.
Avoid. Nothing could be worse.
I had their steak with the house wine, both of which were excellent. The waiter was very nice and knew multiple languages (english, russian, german). The staff was even nice enough to offer a free dessert for a small mistake at another table. Plus the prices were very affordable! It is a fairly simple menu, but they have quite a few options.
