Found this little gem a few months ago while visiting Lisbon. Why is this place not more popular? The food was amazing! We chose the all you can eat sushi option, to our surprise we didn't get to chose any pieces it was all up to the chef & he done an amazing job. We were all very happy with the service and the quality of food we received. This was better sushi then I have had in my 2 years living in London!

No idea why this place isn't more popular. The sushi is really, really good. The staff is always nice and kind. Not the \fake smile\ sort of nice, but the genuine kind of nice, especially if you're a regular. I once got sick in the middle of dinner (unrelated to the food, it was a medical issue) and they packed all of our food and more (we had ordered the all you can eat, which isn't compatible with leftovers), over 40 pieces of sushi on top of what we'd already eaten, no extra charge. We didn't even ask, they offered. I'll always remember that. I used to eat here about twice a month with my husband for about 2 years before I moved. I really miss this place and we still go here when we go to Lisbon. Don't let the exterior / decor put you off, it scared me too at first but the food (the sushi, at least) is really good, made fresh whilst you're waiting. The sake is alright. Their portuguese isn't the best, but you can communicate.
