The corvina fillet I had was unbelievable. Flavorful and moist, it was an absolute delight. The potatoes and broccoli that accompanied it were also very very well cooked. The reason I give this four stars is that my friend had the robalo and said that it was nothing special

OK, think of a lovely, friendly family meal. Did you? That's the place: Mr. Joao (the owner) is superb and so friendly that you'll think of your father! Honest food and honest prices! Love it!

Very nice traditional \tasca\. This is a great place if you want to eat Portuguese traditional food. The staff is so nice, what a wonderful chat I had with the owner. I also had one of the best cookies cake (bolo de bolacha). Does not have payment with cards.

If you would like to feel the atmosphere of portuguise hospitality and very very tasty local food, you definetely have to visit this place. There are 6-8 main dishes in the menu and very good wines recommended by very friendly and helpful owners. We paid for two 35 Euro: ham and cheese, two main dishes, a bottle of good red wine, water and digestive !!! This place was recommended by one of the famous food bloggers, otherwise we could hardly to find it. If you like simple authentic food this is the right place for you!

Really lovely family run restaurant with honest to goodness food cooked in front of you. Fabulously friendly owner and staff. This is where the locals come to eat. They have a limited menu of about 8 main courses of proper Portuguese food which they then cook to perfection. Go here.

Those four stars refer only to the food... after all the main purpose of a restaurant. All the rest... 1 to 2 stars.

Amazing family run restaurant, we stumbled here accidentally and had the most wonderful lunch.
