Definitely not cheap (5 euro each) compare to de nata, but worth it. So delicious, fresh, warm. I still feel the taste in my mouth. Highly recommend.

Not bad but overrated. Way too expensive, the size of the pastel is huge. They push for the one with cheese but the classic one is better. You’ll find better Cod fish cake in less touristic place.

Unfortunately this place is quite overpriced now. We paid 29 for two beers and four pastels. Also, the pastel was not warm :( The place is nice, though. Also the pastel is tasty. It worth the visit, but probably management could listen to all the reviews mentioning the prices. It's located in one of the main tourist streets of Lisbon. Sometimes queues are expected.

The Codfish cake was 5 euros for the classic one (20 for 4) Prices elsewhere would range 1.25 to 1.50. Ok their size is much bigger but that actually makes it more doughy and less crispy giving a less nice mouthful. Seasoning wise the cake is a little under salted has too little parsley and I couldn't taste the onion. The cod was too minced not giving nice flakes. So even taking into account the size you are paying 250% of the normal price for a substandard pastel. Cannot recommend.

I didn't like the taste at all, I prefer to eat the fish as a meal. It costs 5 euros! I could have had a proper meal

Pleasant taste of Portugal. Tasty though a little on the dear side for what it is. Excellent ambience with the decor when sat upstairs and definitely an experience.

Ha! a classic tourist trap! I went in thinking that if they sell just one type of pastry- it should be good. They have tried to additionally sell me a glass of port wine for the price of a wine bottle (7.50!) which I have refused. Pastry was OK but really nothing special and not worth 5 Euro. Customer service was nothing to write about too. Everyone were sad there for some reason. \u200d️ I would advise to avoid this place and look around.

This is a far fetch from the traditional bacalhau. It is a large portion but not worth paying 4 for. The overall “patty” is a chunky potato patty filled with not much cod in it. The cheese stuffing in it is a fairly acquired taste especially for myself. The cheese was quite sharp and fairly pungent. Somewhat comparable to a sharp goats cheese. It is in a touristy spot located on a busy street in the city center. So do expect queues on busy days and peak hours. If you’re looking for something that is a quick bite and drink this might be ideal for you but I would recommend exploring around to have a look before deciding if this is something you want, especially for the price.
