Went into Cartier Lisbon to have my watch battery changed. Everyone very polite and enjoyed a coffee whilst waiting. Had my husband and his 80 yr dad waiting in car as parking is very bad during the xmas holidays. After waiting 45 minutes, they tell me they didn't change the battery, that my watch had to stay for the 6 years recommended service, and it would cost me around 600 euros! I was completely shocked as they made me wait 45 mins to tell me this! They could have told me all this when they checked my details on the computer and not waste my time. It's for the customer to be advised that a service is due and make a decision. But to make me wait 45 mins to tell me this and that they didn't change the battery? A really bad customer service. A real disappointment!
