It's a mix of things that make this place interesting. A monument with many stone plates thanking a doctor/saint for the graces achieved (something common in the Catholic religion), small and big birds around cristalline pools, including cocks and chickens sleeping by the sun. Green places like these are rare in Lisbon, so I treasure them as much as I can when I come across one.

Lisboa was one of the cities I had the most fun exploring on a skateboard. Everyone is very friendly and the food is just fantastic. As long as you don't fall into the tourist traps you will be fine. You'll find that the more you explore this city the more the culture gets to you.

Great central park in Lisbon that is quite family friendly. With an outdoor beverage place and loads of friendly animals such ducks and chickens about to keep you and your kids eye's busy.

Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, commonly known by its former name Campo de Santana, is a street in the parish of Arroios in Lisbon. It occupies the upper part of the trough that separates the two converging valleys in the city center, which correspond to Avenida da Liberdade and Avenida Almirante Reis. It is a space full of history, located in the central area of \u200b\u200bLisbon, which served as a slaughterhouse in the 16th century and which has known many uses over the last two centuries, such as a bullring, from 1831 to 1889, the realization of the Feira da From 1835 to 1882 and still a vegetable market in the mid-19th century.
