Very disappointing. Initial feelings were good, however, reality was below par. Waiter recommendation was a ribeye steak which was very disappointing, it was more like a minute steak than a ribeye. Informed the waiter of our discontentment only to be told \I'm sorry\. He returned 10 minutes later to offer a dessert or half a garlic bread !!! Will not return.

Great place for a really good steak. You can pick your own steak, they weigh it for you and then grill it to perfection. I was in Buenos Aires before coming to Portugal and the steak from Atalho can easily compete with some of the best steak houses from Argentina (I tested a lot of them ;-) ) The pictures here on Google dont show a nice angle of the meat so I tried to take one myself- tho I'm not too good at that myself

Hidden in a small sidestreet, the Atalho Real is a pure jewel of a restaurant in the heart of Lissabon. Even tho it is so central, you can barely hear any street noise. Looking for a place to have a quick dinner, we ended up having 2,5 hours of tasty starters, perfect cocktails, superb filet and a service which was absolutly on point (thanks Ricardo!). All that while having a fantastic view over Lissabon, at a price that is unbeatable. Straight 10 out of 10.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. We tried the wagyu bacon cheeseburger, with chips and coleslaw, so delicious. We also ordered the vaca madura and was so good. I will go again when I come back. The place is really cool, waiters are nice and they make your experience so much better. Increíble, 100% recomendable. Probamos las bacon cheeseburger y el filete de vaca madura, muy rico. Los camareros muy simpaticos y atentos y el sitio precioso.

Certainly one of the best beef stakes in Lisbon. Strongly recommended for meat lovers. (To be fair, the vegetarian hamburgers are not too bad at all...)
