Very bad experience over there.one of the Portuguese nurse with long nose and short hair was very rude with patients.i was disappointed with her manner.

Run away, DO NOT GO HERE! I was seen by an old doctor, bold, he was using a track suit that was sliding from his bum. The worst doctor i have ever been seen by, i greeted him he just ignored me, it was like I was not even there, he told me everything was fine, 4 days later i had to had an emergency operation cause my life was at risk, i could have died!!! At the other hospital they couldnt believe that I was misdiagnosed with something so straight forward. Avoid going there!
My twins were born here, premature, 14.12.2009. Great treatment. Healthy happy children. We had 2 more, without problems. Great team, great professionals. Thanks to all.
Very bad. I went there 6 times. Everytime I had to wait between 8 hour and 4 hours. Not clean. No one speaks English. The building is in a very bad state. Every Portuguese tells you that hospital is the best in Portugal
Few things could be considered to get best service, after 22 hours long delivery pain , we wait for main dinner that provides normally for patients. 1. Hot soup, hot milk or anything energy providing drinks could be quick and relief those nearly come back from death:( . My wife had big cut on side of her ass during baby birth, so she couldn't sit neither painkiller work up to sitting from that side . The food came to room and she has to go on the table and sit on that wooden chair to have that food . 2.Why not we designed those chair as for those types of situations. Anyway it's maternity hospital. After discharge from hospital we didn't got any midwife service in our home neither we ask to visit hospital to check up nor any medication prescribed to heal that big wound faster. We wait 10 days still the pain didn't went down even it was more painful. ( during 10 days we were putting ice bag around, antibacterial cleansing to clean every day and for pain relief paracetamol ), because of nothing improved we went again emergency service to checkups , doctors found that swing make so much pain and they cut off , they give antibiotics and prescribed Betadin medicine as well as i-Broffin to ease pain . 3. Why same short of medicine didn't give before and ask us to visit in week time? Well , still lots of small issues there but they depend on different people. Some doing same things beyond and some worse. Thank you. And hope you taking this as suggestions not offensive.
I have waited here 8 hours. Worst service ever. . It’s really shame for portugal. That was really urgent.. shame for European countries. Shame
