Nice and homely atmosphere, food was great and portion was generous. The cake was damn amazing, though Dk what is that, wafer bits/coffee/cream? Waiter was patient and helpful though with his limited English. We were there at 730 (opened at 7pm) and it was fully packed after our meal arrived. Long queue after that too. Get there early and end off your meal with sweets and oranges.

If you want a truly local Portuguese place, look no further! It's far from the touristy area and this is exactly what makes it so great. There are long tables and everyone sits together. Prices are much cheaper and the food is very tasty. We ordered Portuguese stew, roasted chicken with rice, half bottle of house wine and paid 13 euros!

Delicious foods. Great price. I had a Octopus dish and drink small bottle wine. The octopus was very soft and tender. And I ordered egg pudding and coffee. My wife visite when I fonished my dish and she also order same octopus dish. Both we were get great experience.

Small and very busy place, full of locals. Not a fancy place for dinner, it has more of a local vibe. On the other hand, the food is delicious and cheap. The staff was super friendly as well. Our total favourite is 'Polvo a Lagareiro' and vinho verde!

Old food and no fresh fish. Absolutely no.

I chose this place because it had good ratings and was at a distance of 10 mins walk from my hotel. When I entered the place I was the only girl, the restaurant owners welcomed me with a smile and helped me find a spot. Not all who served spoke English but they were really kind to have the owner ask me what I wanted. I ordered grilled sea bass and it was really tasty. They checked if I was ok and if I needed anything more. Really hospitable. I went there the next day too. Ordered cod de braz. This restaurant is worth a visit and doesn’t drill your pocket either.

My first meal in Portugal. Cod, potatoes and black eye beans. I was not disappointed. Tasty, lots of bones but tasty. Staff, seem helpful enough.

Top local bar. Very authentic. Shared tables, cheap and good Portuguese food. They don't speak English but they are friendly and happy to help.
