Buffet styled rest, veggie. Assorted dishes, menu including soup and 3 sized plates to compose your meal. Prices the usual for this kind of rest. We arrived late, so there wasn’t a lot to choose from, but a few things we tasted where specially above average. We'll be back for more, for sure.

Great space with rally good vibe, food is always nice. It is a great option if you are vegetarian or even if you only want to try new stuff, great flavours and always new choices to keep the variety. Excellent.

delicious! might be the best one in Portugal. and i've been at most of them, in Lisbon and Porto... it's so good it makes me want to work (with them)! and, boy, i hate jobs. specially working with food: so hard and dreadful. the cheesecake could be better: less coconut, more creamy. ps: correct address is Av. Marquês de Pombal 12

Good food, mostly vegan, 3 or 4 dishes contain milk or eggs (sadly). Kind , helpful staff , try the sweet potato and coconut cake ,,, I'll make this my regular restaurant.

So, after passing 15 or more roadside restaurants serving piglets with a skewer up their bums, we were getting a bit hacked off with Portuguese attitudes to 'food'. Any vegetarian restaurant would have made us happy. Tamari made us VERY happy and not just because it was a case of any port in a storm. It's a self-serve buffet with a choice of three menus – a small plate, a large plate and soup and a go-back-many-times plate and soup – all at a very reasonable price. Buffets are usually an easy way for a restaurant to make money (see the pretty rubbish DaTerra in Oporto, for example), because they can stack it up with piles of rice and ordinary salads. Not here. Every dish (and there were lots to choose from) was well thought out and delicious. From seitan rough puff pastry rolls to a beetroot and apple salad, from lentil 'lasagne' to extra-spicy quinoa and tofu rissoles. Great desserts and juices, friendly staff and very popular. Can we credit it with making us love Portugal again...well, it certainly helped!
