Luís de Camões Garden This public garden was the stage of one of the most notable events occurred in the city at the time of Miguel Torga: the District’s Bicentennial Exhibition that took place in 1940, simultaneously with the one of Lisbon. Nevertheless, the writer does not mention it in his works, just as he always did as regards the initiatives of the Estado Novo

A very nice little garden to walk around or just to seat and read a book. You can walk into the river direction and walk alongside it and just relax. There is a playground for kids nearby. One of the best places of Leiria city.
