I have been visiting Turispico for the last 4 years and enjoy myself every time. The horses are well cared for and very well behaved. They have horses and riding trails for all levels of experience. My favorite is the 2 hr trail that goes up to the top of one of the more scenic hills in the area. The whole thing costs about 40 per person and includes a little meal afterward with regional food and wine. Very nice touch. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wondeful! From the guide Isaac to the horses, 2 very well spent hours! Amazing riding through the fields, an old viewpoint, always with the island of São Jorge as a background and as a "gift" to the horses, some cut apples for them as a delight. Just recomend a page on TripAdvisor, can be easier to get in touch with them. Trully recommend this on Pico!
