The best Indian restaurant in Portugal! (In my humble opinion) The chicken madras is exceptional, everything freshly prepared and consistently of a high level. I also highly recommend the Dal Tadka too. I have eaten here at least 5 times in the last 2 years.

We stopped at the Indian restaurant Kohinoor for a tasty meal I did not leave unsatisfied. After have accurately scrutinized the vegetarian section of the menu we picked three dishes accompanied by fried rice. Forgive my ignorance but I cannot recall all the names of the dishes. We picked a sauce made with lentils and (of course) lots of spices that was insanely delicious. The second choice was delicious a butter based dish called vegetable Korma. Whereas, the last was was amazing chickpeas curry. My favorite was the lentil one but it took me awhile to decide as all of the them were really tasty! The prices are competitive and on the average with other restaurants.
Went there three times. Food was good! The naan was soft and crispy - the best naan I've had in my entire life. Would recommend the chicken bhuna
I want to take you on a little journey. 5 years ago I went to India to find the best butter chicken I could possibly find on this beautiful planet. It took me 3.5 years, lots of different butter chicken courses, several over night stays in the middle of nowhere with lovely old indian ladies that promised me the best butter chicken of my life. So a year ago I came back a different man with different values and having tasted the most delicious butter chicken meals you can imagine. But let me tell you this, the butter chicken and naan bread at this place must have come from a different planet. We went two nights in a row indulging ourselves in this beauty of a kitchen miracle. Best butter chicken ever.
Fantasticly Delicious Tandoori, Great Service We sat outside and ordered the Koohinoor Special and Sheek Kebab Tandoori with medium sauce: It was all delicious. We both ended-up with leftovers. I think that either would be sufficient for two people, if ordered with a side of rice or extra bread. We ordered the fried shrimp appetizer, and it was also delicious. We especially liked the flavorful white sauce that came with it (it came with two sauces). We finally ate here on the last day before a new Lockdown. My wife told me that I'll be walking here several times during the Lockdown to get the Koohinoor Special for each of us! I am excited and looking forward to it. The free WiFi was OK.
The best garlic naan in my life! And a good variety of vegetarian options. Not too spicy and really delicious.
The staff was very friendly and location is great, but this food is very overpriced and very bland. With so many options I would recommend trying one of the other Indian restaurants nearby.
