We could visit 2 exhibitions. One was about the work of local artists and especially the African part was exquisite. The masks were tremendous! Then, at level - 1,there was a geometry of sounds exhibition, which we did not enjoy so much.

A state-of-the-art building with a lovely plaza and great exhibitions. It is home of the works of José de Guimarães, which is definitely worth visiting. From the outside, walking in the avenue, this whole area is not visible as it is hidden behind and sunken into the area of the old market, so make sure you dare entering through those old \Mercado\ gates to find this marvel of contemporary art.

What an amazing place. The exhibition is so nicely curated. The lighting is superb. Don’t miss this one. Free entry on Sundays.

I have only seen the outside so far therefore I have to be non-committal at this stage. I would like the night time illumination to be more colourful as it would give this space more of an interesting vibe.
