Small but very cosy place with tasty treats and a mean Mimosa! I highly recommend the bagels with eggs, those are delicious.

After spending much of yesterday in the Cake and Bake, I only have words of praise. The service we received was exceptional and the staff are really lovely people. So much so that we were sad we had to leave. The food was also of an excellent standard and very reasonably priced. Anyone in Guimaraes should definitely visit here. It's a hidden gem.
Very tasty snacks, sweet and cosy place. Although they fill the drinks up a bit too much and spill them on the stairs up. Still recommendable.
Yesterday along with a group of friends we stumbled across this hidden gem in Guimaraes. What a find! We made two extended visits in one day. A small family run business that serve the most wonderful food, They could not do enough to make our visit memorable and very enjoyable. In the end we had to leave with heavy hearts. Guimaraes is a beautiful place and worth a visit on any trip to Northern Portugal. If you go there be sure to visit Cake n Bake it will be worth the journey alone.
