Went to this Restaurant as we wanted to try some fresh fish. We both had the Redfish which was great. However the service is just absolutely terrible. All three of the waiters are just very very slow. Anytime we needed something we had to ask for at least 3-4 times, otherwise we never end of getting it. We had to ask for some bread and butter three times. Then asked for some extra lemon for the fish the waiter never bring any and just stood around. Lastly we asked for a coffee, which we never received, but was added to the bill. It could have been a great place to eat but They need to either train their staffs or get some new one. Will not be going back..

We had a great experience with our lunch at restaurante Maresia, as starters we had 6 oysters which came with \El Bulli\ style wasabi eggs which was absolutely amazing, then we had a ceviche from salmon and shrimp which was worth a detour to try it and we also had a veal carpaccio which was simple but tasted great.As main dishes we had polvo a lagareiro, black angus steak and a vegetarian vegetable curry. With this amazing lunch we tried 2 wines from the Algarve which were surprisingly good and fresh,Baranco do vale sauvignon and chardonnay, both were excellent choices, we would recommend this restaurant for everyone who loves good food and great wines!
Top service, top food and correct price! Fantastic oysters! Our compliments to the chef at the grill. One of the best filet mignon I have ever eaten in my life. Regards to Tiago; top service with curtesy and friendship! We will come again!
The restaurant is modern and well decorated with nice smooth music for a relaxed meal, if you plan to stay inside. There is also outdoor seating available. You can reserve a table and the staff is very polite and concerned to make sure you have a nice experience. You can see they are trained professionals so expect good service. The food is very good. The specialties are fish based but they also serve meat and have vegetarian options. I chose meat and was very pleased with my choice: a piglet dish with a combination of flavours that surprised and delighted. So much so that a friend of mine who said he didn't like piglet, tasted it and started liking it. Everyone else chose fish dishes and were very satisfied as well. The desert was brownie with mint ice cream and caramel, a house special. Do yourself a favour and order it. It's amazing! I do recommend a visit if you are in the area, but at this moment, since this restaurant is new, they don't accept credit cards as payment yet, only debit.
What a lovely place, the food was excellent and the staff very attentive. It’s a really beautiful place that looks great but remains relaxing. They’ve also made an effort suggesting a few dishes suiting a vegan diet!
Excellent meat and very friendly service
Absolutely excellent. We were so impressed we drove 75 kms the next week to repeat. The food is sublime , the service excellent and price is very reasonable. We would highly recommend.
This place is amazing, stopped for lunch today, wife had the goat cheese salad, best she has had. I had the burger which was very good. Staff are amazing and the chef, Miguel is fantastic, took the time to show us the American steak, which i cant wait to try next week for dinner. The brownie with mint ice cream was incredible, best brownie ive had in a very long time.
