New restaurant with a contemporary design, delicious food and great wine selection. Easy to miss since it shares the same entrance with another famous restaurant. In my opinion Taberna do Capitao is even better.

Wow. Just wow. We are so excited about this place. Beautiful atmosphere in a modern but traditional design. Amazing wine and food and the staff told us a lot about the local vineyards, cultivation and terroir. Very enthusiastic and authentic and yet the right amount of distance. We enjoyed our stay so much and recommend this gem to everyone - locals and tourists. Prices are very moderate for the high quality. Absolutely perfect.
Best deal in Madeira. Food is tasty, and local wine selection is over what you would even consider. Shame that it was my last evening in Madeira. Recommend it to everyone.
