If you want to find one of the most interesting viewpoints on the trail, this is one of those places. You can drive up directly or mark it on a map on the Sao Lourenco route and take a wonderful route along the coast. High cliffs from which you can admire sharp rocks and cliff walls typical of the northern part of the coast.

Simply Splendid.. be careful not to come in sneakers you need proper hiking shoes with grip. It's was very wet and very slippery. WORTH THE VIEWS. We did 17km round trip from Machico.
Amazing views from this place. It's really worth to come here and make some photos as memento from Madeira.

Mirador, with amazing view. There is a truck selling beverages and snacks, ladies selling flowers.
Great views, any walking from here is only advised for advanced walkers in places due to rough terrain and occasionally strong winds. Great views up the coast from here.
