Very friendly staff. Did the west tour of the island with them. Good to shop around as prices vary especially if you have kids. Pick up a bit early 08.35. Driver had a reclinable child seat in the car for my 2 year old daughter which allowed her to sleep.

The best way to know Madeira Island; you don't need to be aware for parking cars, or if the bus left you. You just need to enjoy your holidays. Just after doing the tours, now you are ready to rent a car and go on the specific places you like most. As well, you can Rent a Car also there. If you prefer something more adventurous, there is activities as canyoning, trekking, catamaran (boat trips), 4x4 tours, from easy walks to more challenging ones and so on. They organised a Levada walk we did when in Madeira in October. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the island's geology, history and current affairs. He was happy to engage with everyone and gave a real insight into Madeira. Can highly recommend this company for tours of Madeira.

We did several guided walks as well as car tours with this company and always had a very good impression. The tour guides were really friendly and competent. The booking process via their website is simple and they will very quickly respond with a booking confirmation, containing all the details of the tour. MIT offers really good levada walks, hikes, and tours with good group sizes and fair prices. A big recommendation!
