We booked a trip with this tourist office and everything was fine. Very good driver and excellent guide who took care of everything and provided us with very good sense of humour. Everything was planned well and we realised all points of the tour programme. For me - nothing to be complained about. I am very satisfied with a trip.

We went on the Paridise Valley Levada walk, half day. It was great to have such a friendly knowledgeable guide and driver. There was a break half way round which wasn't really needed as the walk is between 2 and 2.5 hours long and on the flat.

We went on the lakes of Madeira walk. the description online was very different from what the guide told us to expect when we started. The walk was better than our expectation after the guide's introduction and we enjoyed it even though the online description is not accurate and will give you false hopes. Transportation was comfortable, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. There were two other groups from the same company doing the same walk at the same time but it generally didn't impact us at all. Due to fires in August, the first 30 minutes wasn't very exciting but after that the views were good. Lunch isn't until after 1 so consider having a snack you can eat while walking. **details on expectations** The guide started out by telling us there was no waterfalls or lakes and swimming is only in a 12 degree pond. This was a big disappointment as we wanted to see some waterfalls on a levada less crowded than the 25 fuentes, and swimming sounded fun. There were a few small \lakes\ and waterfalls, enough to beat the expectations the guide set. If we'd wanted to freeze we could have swam but for 99% of visitors it's not a viable option. If booking with this group you need to make sure you have a good understanding of what the walk will have and don't necessarily trust the online description.
