Paradise

A great and quiet place to stay in Funchal. In walking distance from the closest beach, with great amenities and free private parking. The room was clean, had everything you'd need and a nice small terrace to relax. Can't recommend the place enough.

I booked apartment no 4.01 in the Edifício América building in Adjuda through Holiday Rental Madeira for 14 nights. I had emphasised that a quite location/low traffic noise was priority. The apartment has been refurbished to look ‘modern’ within a building which has seen better days and is smaller than depicted on their website. The shower room/toilet is cramped with the door hitting the toilet pan and the kitchen has limited space for preparing food. My main gripe is that the sound insulation is very poor. I found it very difficult to sleep with traffic noise and by the sound of furniture being dragged in the apartment above. It was impossible to stay in the apartment during the day due to building work starting at 09:00 Monday to Saturday. Overall, a very unhappy stay and I could not wait to leave.

Reserva realizada a través de Booking con cancelación gratuita. Debido al cambio de número de personas, hubo que cambiar el alojamiento y anulé la reserva. Después de casi 2 meses, y todo gracias a Booking, he podido recuperar mi dinero de la primera noche que nos habían cobrado. No contestaron los 4 correos electrónicos que les escribí reclamándoles la devolución. Tras ponerme en contacto con Booking y plantearles el problema, ellos le pusieron un ultimátum y ni a Booking hicieron caso. Finalmente Booking me reintegró el dinero. Espero que reciban algún tipo de penalización por parte del portal de reservas.

Holiday Rental Madeira wurde uns von Freunden Empfohlen. Wir haben über die Agentur eine Villa in Canico (Villa Carlota) gemietet. Mit der Buchung, dem Service, dem Ablauf sowie Check-In und Check-Out waren wir sehr zufrieden. Während unserem Aufenthalt waren sie immer für uns zu erreichen. Das war ein sicheres Gefühl. Auch Besonderheiten wie Lunch-Pakete, Abholung vom Flughafen oder Babysitter wird unkompliziert organisiert. Herr Ashour und seine Assistentin, Frau Ferreira waren stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben ein großes Stück zu einem wunderbaren Urlaub beigetragen. Wir haben über Holiday Rental Madeira bereits zwei weitere Aufenthalte gebucht. Alles super - vielen Dank!
