Hired a road bike for 5 days while in Madeira. These guys where about the only place with top quality road bikes (canyon endurance carbon Fibre). Easy rental and helped me out with a few problems. Be warned, Madeira is steep! Every climb is 10% minimum. But good quiet roads.

Easy to reserve online in advance, excellent location near cruise ships, I booked for 4 hours, if you want to ride uphill (there are a lot of hills around, but waterfront is flat heading right) get an ebike. It comes with helmet. Super friendly and English speaking. Great value for money.
Very FRIENDLY and DEDICATED staff. We rent two road bikes. Luckily, our sizes were available. We could make them install SPD pedal in advance. Helmets we received were almost new. I strongly recommend for individuals or small groups.

Thank you very much for making the tour with me, although the other two guys cancelled. The tour was great, I liked the fully suspension Canyon bike. Guide Ruiz was very friendly and responsible. Forest, views, trails were awesome!

We are just back from our cycle trip to Madeira, it was a fabulous experience made better by the help we received from Happy Bikes. They sorted the equipment we needed, pannier racks and specific pedal types to make life easier, anything to make the trip up the hills (of which there are plenty) more comfortable. We did a round the island tour but didn’t fancy the last main road drag from Jardim do Mar to Funchal and arranged a last minute pick up with HB to take us and the bikes to Funchal, for a very reasonable price too. We would absolutely recommend them!
