One of the most beautiful houses we have ever stayed in. Right on the waterfront facing the bay of Funchal. Beautiful interiors, large windows full of light all facing the ocean. Excellent airport transfers, communication, and friendly service from Funchal Cottages. Thanks to the team.

Casa do mar was even better then the photos. It must be the most beautiful view in all of Madeira, facing Funchal harbour with unlimited sea views. We found it to be a fantastic location in downtown Funchal, 2 minute walk to tasco a great restaurant and the shops and fruit market. The house has beautiful interiors, modern decoration and lots and lots of space. We loved the terraces over the sea and watching boats come in and out of the port. Great service from Funchal Cottages and a perfect stay.

We had a warm welcome with all the necessary information. The description of the house and it's surroundings are exactly as described. The house was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The sea view was absolutely fantastic to say the least. Restaurants & shops are all in walking-distance (just minutes). We thank Cristina for the nice stay in her amazing sea-front house.

WOW!! Amazing house it must be unique on the island. it has unbelievable views of the harbour so you see ships coming in and the views keep changing. Very large terraces for sunbathing and relaxing all with unlimited sea views. The beach is just down the road, and its very authentic and filled with locals swimming in the sea. Even though it was hard to tear us away from the barbecue - Tasco is a great place to eat also 2 minutes away. Highly recommend casa mar to anyone visiting Madeira.

We had a large family reunion so some stayed in Casa Mar and we also stayed in Painters Cottage - a perfect holiday. The best views we have ever had, gorgeous seafront location in the heart of the old town. Funchal Cottages arranged our transfers and made our stay and booking easy. Madeira is a fantastic island for a activity packed week. Will come back soon.
