Very peaceful and beautiful place to go. Went for short weekend, but I think that was more than enough. Places close early during winter time and very very quite at night with very little to do unless you drink alcohol. 3 Islands off the coast are OK, worth the quick visit but don't really need a full day to see them, unless you want to just sit on the beach and relax.

Chilled out here before check in. Plenty of places to grab a drink, ice cream or small bite. Enjoyed watching the ferry boats (numerous places to visit for cheap prices between 2 and 5 euros.) Planes landing at local airport fly over and train runs past as well.
Perfect place for photographing the amazing Portuguese sunsets. Get a nice spot on the boat Getty and take some cold beers.

It is beautiful. Do forget to hike your way through all of them.
