I have no idea what people eat and what tastes they have and what their standards of good food-price are. I was yesterday in this place, which at first glance seemed welcoming, ate with my wife and we ate the worst meat we could ever eat. hard, dry and badly cut. not to mention the vegetables, old and tasteless. plastic potatoes and hot, sour red wine. watered beer. even our table neighbors ordered not fresh fish and a stone burger! it was so hard and dry. we travel around Europe for business and holidays and we are increasingly convinced that good and well-cooked food is only in Italy. pity, because we found other Portuguese restaurants more down to earth at a good price with food and cuisine of the past with excellent raw materials. the grand finale was missing: they say they don't have a machine to pay by debit or credit card. cash only.

Local Portuguese restaurant with several choices of meat and fish. Friendly service, quiet atmosphere. Food is tasty and portions come big. On the down side, they don't accept card payment.

Potentially the best restaurant in the Algarve. For the price, the service level and the quality of food, it doesn’t get better than this. Seafood was incredibly fresh and the Algarve speciality almond case was so good I shamelessly had a second slice.

We ate arroz de polvo e arroz de lingueirao. The large plate was 9 euros each. Great value! The polvo was fantastic, the lingueirao could have more fisn and less rice. The waiter super nice and efficient! I will definitely come back!

Typical Portuguese food. The place is more like a Tavern and it has a wide selection of fish dishes. They also have daily offers at good prices.

Fantastic local seafood that you can pick from a display cooler. Very nice setting only a minute from Faro Train Station.
