The sandwiches, wine, and calamari are excellent here. This is the friendliest, happiest, most inclusive taverna I have been to in all of southern Europe. It is clearly a locals favourite, but the owner is very welcoming to tourists as well. Easiest 5 stars I will ever give

There is no place left more authentic than Adega do Amável. Try the wine, the unpretentious and inexpensive Tapas. Cheses, Smoked Chourizos & the best canned delicacies.
