Câmara de Lobos, Portugal
Caminho da Trincheira

Very nice and cozy place. I came in the morning so there was not so much action though. Camara de Lobos Bay is a fishermen village, who go fishing during the night mostly, so that's why there are still so many boats during the day. Some souvenir stores in the streets and restaurants. I think it's more picturesque in the evening.

If you visit Madeira this is one the bucket list for you including trying Nikita or poncha (local alcoholic drinks very strong but incredibly flavourful) enjoy the nice weather if you can, the sound of the wave, local people playing cards, it's like a post card
Very scenic little bay - definitely worth a visit.
A small lovely bay in suburbs of Funchal. Picturesque and welcoming. Long to come back here
A small, picturesque harbor with many colorful boats. A great place to take a rest.
This place is really getting is act together, becoming a destination rather than a diversion in Madeira. The new 'Churchill Bay' concept by a major hotel chain seems to have engendered a lot of other gentrification style development, consequently bringing in both money and employment. Good food at reasonable prices and lots of tourists means this is an up and coming place after years of being a little down at heel.
A beautiful picturesque fishing village. The perfect place to walk, sit or relax and while away the day.
My home town love this place and also my twins love it to
