Nice place. Please don’t trash it and don’t pee all over it. If you promise I will tell you that it is possible to go around the forecast from the right side. You will be able to go almost to the front line. Peaceful place with rocks. Please be quiet and don’t disturb fisherman or people who escaped the crowded beach

Fascinating, a little overcrowded and car parking is a challenge. Better take the Train/Tram or Bus.
Visited in Early November - no crowds - note you can’t go inside the fort as it is an active government building. Still the surrounding beaches and restaurants make for a serene few hours. There are also quite a few surfers taking to the Atlantic waves
