The \bifanas\ were really good, and it was fast! Stopped here during a kayak trip down the river and it was perfect

Best spot around Coimbra to have a refreshing deep in the water. The water is very clear and great to spot small fish. Incredible safe for kids. The bar at the beach has an amazing choice of traditional Portuguese snacks (petiscos).

Nice spot. Shame it is mostly in the shade after 6pm. No easy access and away from public transport.

Nice sandy river beach with a marked swimming area in the river. The bar is average, food quality is OK, service was a bit slow when we were there, but the location makes up for a lot. The new walkway across the river means you can access it from both sides of the river.

Nice river beach, with a lot of sand to lie on. There is no shortage of space. There are also plenty of amenities just next to it... bar, beach volley, barbecue and a big open space parking lot. The water is quite low in this part of the river, so it will feel like a big natural pool. Great for the kids.
