Really enjoyed this mix between interactive installations and old-school science tools! I'm a scientist, so no surprise I loved it so much. Quite a few of the interactive things didn't work, but it's still great time spent in here!

Half of the rooms were closed due to COVID. Including the interactive exhibits and entire animal section (no whale skeleton). No one informed us of the closures when we bought the tickets. Huge disappointment, don’t waste your time here.

An musuem with unique educational items and areas to visit. It consists of physics, natural science areas. It is amazing how many instruments, educational tools in physics were used back then. The preserved animals, plants and these skeletons were amazingly reproduced and kept.

An interesting place with a lot to learn about physics, chemistry and biology. In general the Coimbra university is a very impressive place to visit. The people of Coimbra seem to be very proud of the students and the local \Fado\ scene seems to be dominated by them.

A large part of the exhibition is closed, probably due to Covid19. A lot of items would deserve a bit of background since only the name does not explain a lot to a vast majority.

This is not large museum by any means but it does have a lot of exhibits worth seeing. There are many bird, fish and animal specimens which have been painstakingly collected and preserved, especially the hippopotamus skeleton as well as numerous skulls. There are also many artefacts collected from former Portuguese colonies. Lighting and heating could be improved
