A very enjoyable hotel. Buffet breakfast was very varied and delicious. Room very nice and kept very clean. Pleasant and very reasonably priced dinners. Very pleasant inexpensive wines. The highlight was the marvellous staff who were very helpful, kind and extremely courteous. We were there in February 2020 - what it is like in the high season I cannot tell you!

Well located, just outside the city center. Beds super comfortable and awsome staff. Everything is super clean
The room was spacious with a huge balcony, partially with the ocean view. The bed was comfortable and there was kitchenette with microwave. There are pools and space where you can lie on a sunbed. Breakfast is really good. Everyday is the same but there's a lot of options. But it's not fully what you expect when you think of a 4 star hotel. The furniture is the cheapest Ikea stuff. The whole building is old and needs renovation. Old carpets, old bathroom tiles. Holes are everywhere after things hanging from the walls during the last 20 years. There's no kettle in the kitchenette, only a pot. Literally 1 spoon. There are no sockets on both sides of the bed. There are doors leading to the next room, so you can connect them. They're thin, you can hear everything. No sponge and dish soap. Room service doesn't clean it and when you ask for it at the reception you hear that you can go across the street to the shop, buy your own stuff and clean it. Also, even though you spend over 7 nights, your bed sheets will be not changed unless you ask for it. Overall if you can accept these cons it's a pretty good place to stay.
The hotel is good. We had a large room also good. Breakfast is good. Swimming pools are excellent, the indoor one is actually quite warm ! The bad points are that the hotel is nowhere near Cascais, nowhere near a beach which is important for my family. No nightlife anywhere near. No entertainment in the hotel which is a little boring !
Family really loved the Pestana. Fantastic grounds. Pool is great. Food good, great selection. Evening food was a bit disappointing for the price per head. Overall we would go back.
Checking in was easy and professional. The rooms are clean and modern and comfortable for my husband and I and teenage daughter. I love love love the balconies! And extra kitchenette! I'm sure we will be very comfortable here for a week. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent!
Generally speaking hotel is fine - room is clean and comfortable. Could be better because it's a bit aged. Hotel guests can use a swimming pool, a sauna (Finnish and steam) and also a small gym (with limited equipment). There is also a restaurant with bar. WiFi connection in whole hotel.
