What an incredible place! (GREAT for vegetarians too!) I have visited before and was equally impressed this time. The service, was impeccable, the food was easily the best Indian I have ever had and the whole experience was wonderful. I am really not somebody to write absolutely raving reviews, but this place really is an exception. It is an absolute must visit for anybody visiting Carvoeiro! Thanks to KD (our waiter) for the fascinating info on the food.

Staff were brilliant, food was varied and delicious and prices were really reasonable. When we asked for advice on dishes, they were really honest and helpful and made sure to warn members of our group when they ordered something spicy. They also offered have sanitiser at the table when we got new plates, etc, between courses. Would definitely go back!

This restaurant has some of the best food. Everything we ordered was delicious and with just the right amount of spices. The service was also great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was the first time I had visited the Gurkha Kitchen but I will be returning. The menu was extensive with the usual Indian dishes we all love but most of my group of friends chose starters and mains from the Nepalese menu. We were all impressed by the spicy sauces which seemed to be fresher than Indian cuisine.

Had a lovely takeaway from here recently. The starter was amazing and huge and the main course, whilst not as tasty, was delicious nonetheless. Highly recommended.

Such amazing service and the food is out of this world delicious. KD and Robin we’re out waiters and they were the perfect mix of helpfulness, friendliness and service. We had the Momos to start and the sag chicken and lamb daakula. All topped off with tasty gulag jamon. The green wine accompaniment was perfect. All topped off with a complimentary glass of port. We’re going back - and soon!
