Loved this place. Glorious setting, obviously. The food was great too. We enjoyed the sea snails, octopus, and clams. We drove down but, be advised, the road is treacherous - would highly recommend the cable car instead.

We loved this bar so much. 2.50 for a toast sandwich or 3.50 for toast with fries. Views are stunning and food was good!
Pricey but a stunning view; It was the most expensive beer and coffee I ever had on Madeira. 2.5 for a small 0.3L Coral beer. 2 for a coffee. It was full of locals, I can imagine we were charged the tourist prices haha. It would be a shame if Madeira changed to the screwing tourists mentality. The view of the ocean and the cliff is superb though. It's one of the most beautiful on the island. I guess it's worth the premium you pay.
