Excellent ferry ride for pedestrians or cars across the mouth of the River Miño. Best to sit on left side for best views looking out to see and of Monte Santa Tecla.

Better take this ferry then the expensive Watertaxi. Good choice for pilgrims to pass the border from Portugal to Spain.

Great ferry, very convenient when the water is high enough to run. It is good to check out the tide tables for Caminha before hand to make sure it is available when you need it. Runs at all but the lowest tides.
Simple boat to get you across. The price is fair for what you get.
Time of operation not always updated on the official site. Operates with various schedules depending on season. Currently (from October 3rd 2017) last ferry to A guarda at 19:00, to Caminha at 19:30 See attached photo of the schedule for October 2017.
