So, where do I start ... I don't even have the necessary words to describe this experience! Joana and Ana, the owners of this space, are the kindest people! EVER! Ana is the cooker and her food is to die for ... today I ate this delicious risotto at lunch, YES, AT LUNCH, A RISOTTO ... well ... not a risotto, A DELICIOUS RISOTTO. For someone who loves good food, homemade food, this is the place! And Joana, who is the one showing her face and serving, is the nicest person ever and a really good talker. They have an amaizing concept, nothing goes to waste. How not to love it? For a week I had lunch there everyday because: 1) FOOD IS AMAZING 2) Price is very low, specially for the quantity and quality of the food 3) THEY ARE SO SO NICE 4) The space is cosy and beautiful For sure my best experience in caminha. I have traveled all over the very north of Portugal for weeks and trying to find a good wholesome place to eat is extremely challenging. Cafe Peresgrino is a little oasis in a vast food desert. They combine fresh ingredients with love and care to make the best food in the area that I can find. Don't expect a long menu - just order whatever they are making at the time and relax knowing that healthy goodness will be landing on your table shortly!

The most amazing hostess and best Camino food to fuel your body during the Camino. WiFi available for free and even if you don't want to buy food, they allow you space to rest, use the bathroom and use their WiFi. I still can't get over their thoughtfulness... Highly recommended

Perfect stop after 30km on the caminho. Met some friends, had good drinks and some emotional moments with Juana. Loved to stay there for longer and try all the specialities theyve got.

Comida portuguesa, variedade de vinhos, atendimento simpático e espaço simples e higienizado de acordo com que necessitamos nesta altura. Recomendo. Um dia vou experimentar a famosa francesinha.
