A big sanctuary and very nice a little off from Braga that has really nice views of the surrounding area. There is a small area good for a small picnic and is a little green. The space around the cathedral could have more shadows and trees to make it fresher on hot summer days. The cathedral itself is still very well preserved, retaining the old representations and Christian symbols

Walk here from Bom Jesus to get to see the two best places, with great views over Braga. And definitely go see the basement of the church, it's huge! Reminded me more of a swimming pool, with all the turquoise walls, but it definitely leaves an impression. Also the square in front if the church reminded me of other places...

Beautiful. You can take a bus up the mountain, or, if you are already at Bom Jesus, walk there in 30 minutes (what I did, recommend if you look for more adventure) The place is enormous, and really peaceful. Surprisingly there were basically no tourists, even though its close to Bom Jesus. The views are ridiculously good, the church better then Bom Jesus, and that whilst being free and a lot more peaceful. Recommend this highly when visiting Braga

This place is Amazing ! Its on a high Hill so there is a breathetaking landscape there is all the rosary mysteries outside and inside. Perfect place for praying
