Very nice! Front beach, clean and confortable!
Fantastic place, friendly host, amazing view. The room was spotless, and comfortable. The balcony had a small table and two chairs, and two blankets for the colder Baleal evenings. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. In the morning, watch the sea in the mist, in the evening, the sunset bathing the bay in golden light. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and did a great effort to provide us with a delicious vegan breakfast. He knew that we would go on diving trips to the Berlengas, and took the initiative to prepare us a vegan lunch packet after he inquired and learned that we would get no food there! If in doubt, get the sea view rooms on the first floor. The views are worth the extra cost. Also, it might feel crowded if you arrive during an afternoon in the weekend or during the summer, but the crowds thin out around 6 or 7 in the evening, and you have the island and the beach practically for yourself! Definitely recommended, great base to explore the area and enjoy the activities in the region (surfing, diving, ...).
